Unconscious bias exists in all of us. Inherent bias is not, in and of itself, a bad thing. But when we allow our biases to negatively (or positively) influence our opinions of others without the proper information or context we run into trouble. Unconscious biases cause us to make assumptions based on race, age, gender, ability, neurodiversity, and other aspects of our identity. WTI's unconscious bias training sessions expose people to their biases, provide tools to adjust automatic patterns of thinking, and ultimately helps to eliminate discriminatory behaviors. We use video storytelling, transparent conversations, breakout sessions and interactive polling questions in this session to gain real insights into the current work culture. *Sessions vary in length depending upon client needs, please schedule a consultation to discuss the ideal session length for your team.
